My name is John Forge. This is my real name. If you are looking for the "Halo Wars" character, I am sorry to disappoint you, and I suggest you click on: Halopedia.

I am indeed a doctor (in economics). I am building this web site for two reasons: first to communicate with my friends and members of my network. Second to give me a good reason to learn modern website interface techniques. On this subject, you can try something amusing: slowly reduce the width of your browser window. You will see texts move in front of, and behind the picture on the left. This is not "a programming trick". All the animation is done using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). The style sheet responsible for this behavior is "index.css" if you want to look it up in your browser.
